When I racked my bike the night before Ironman I overheard the comment. Look how pinked out the womens rack is this year. Guess what boys. We are here to stay and here to play. 
The boy in yellow just got dropped.
By a girl on a pink bike.

Yeah, my name is Jeff Rodgers #853. You want me to feel worse. I finished in 12:40 with a bike split over 6 hours..must have been my fancy helmet. Don't you feel my pain of humiliation?
JR.... we all feel pain and humiliation and Ironman...dig deeper you'll feel exhilaration and accomplishment
