Day #3

This trip is awesome. We are taking a day to hang out with Seth, Val and their baby Scott in San Luis Obispo. Seth is Tim's brother. We could have rested today but there is too much of the world to explore on bikes. So we rolled locally. Tomorrow is onward to Santa Barbara/ Carpenteria. Can't wait to post the pictures.

Full detailed blog with photos....and chapters to come. Moblie blogger isn't coming through for me. We are having a family day today in San Luis Obispo then back on the road again Wednesday. Two days of riding 283.9 miles down. Hoping to be home in time for the Friday evening La Jolla COve swim.

We Are Off

On the train into the city. The journey of 600 miles stands between me and my home. We had a lot of fun hanging out with Cindy and Riley. This is not the Ironman. There is no need for high performance product. No Mike Riley at the the top of Mt. Soledad to shout my name. There may or may not be pizza in ones Costco sizes Bento box. Don't be fooled. For everyday you pedal your bike it is a race. This time it's "Racing The Recumbents"
